March Volunteers of the Month
Steve Costa and Matt Gallagher

Matt was the MC of our Trivia Bee again this year and did a fantastic job- offering tough questions
and a wonderful multi-media presentation. Steve presided over the festivities as judge- quite a task this
year, as there were a number of disputes. Thanks for all your hard work gentlemen!
February Volunteer of the Month
Meg Linden

Meg has been helping with Dance Palace mailings for years. She responds with very short notice, shows up cheerful and ready to work, and is a pleasure to be around. Thanks Meg!
January Volunteer of the Month
Kari Carlsen

Kari Carlsen, a former youth representative on our Board of Directors, is January's Volunteer of the Month.
Every Tuesday afternoon Kari helps out by escorting kids from West Marin School down to the
Dance Palace for ceramics class. She is punctual, reliable, upbeat- and a great help. Thanks Kari!
December Volunteer of the Month
Pam Campe

Pam volunteered for an afternoon to help decorate the Dance Palace for the holidays.
She was great on high ladders, running to the school to get art, and had a great eye for hanging lights
and decor. The place wouldn't have looked nearly as fabulous without her talent and incentive. Thanks Pam!
November Volunteer of the Month
Joyce Greenwood

Joyce, a self-taught pianist who lives in Inverness, has volunteered her time to play lovely piano music
once a month at the senior lunch. She plays on the third Thursday of every month, to the delight
of the seniors and DP staff. Joyce also performed at the Community Thanksgiving dinner this year.
What a lovely gift to give- thank you Joyce!

Barry has been volunteering a the Dance Palace for as long as we can remember.
He's painted so many things here we can't keep track- he''s also helped taking tickets, by serving on committees and the board...you name it. Thanks for all you do Barry!
September Volunteer of the Month
Patty Neubacher

It was hard to chose between the many fabulous volunteers at our Duck Derby this year- but Patty Neubacher stood out not only because she was the original creator of the event 6 years ago, but because she sold tickets months in advance, helped all day with set up and clean up, and ran the numbers table with Ann Gessert. We raised over $9000 for the Dance Palace- thanks Patty!
August Volunteers of the Month
Jeff Wessner and Fred Lamberson

It was hard to chose between the many fabulous volunteers at our Annual Rummage Sale this year- but
Jeff and Fred stood out as they stayed to the very finish to clean up, recycle, and dispose of all the leftovers.
A huge thanks to all volunteers, with a special shout-out to Susan Deixler, Richard Plant, and Ewell McIsaac
for their extra hard work and commitment. Thank you!

walk into the shed and find what we need now- awesome job, Kai!!

Matt and Elisabeth were fantastic as host and judge,
respectively, at our 14th Annual Dance Palace Trivia Bee. Matt spent countless hours creating a multimedia
presentation of 50 tough questions,
and Elisabeth stayed in character all night as “Ruth” (Ginsberg we presume). The Trivia Bee had its most successful night in years thanks to these two volunteers. Thank you!

Our main hall is now called the Carol J. Friedman Room. Great job Carlos- thank you for your time and talent!
