    Ballet 1 (for ages six to nine) builds on the knowledge of the pre-ballet level and introduces more terminology and technique. The focus will be on playing with musical phrases and tempo, increasing range of movement and coordination.

    Russian technique, Ms. Donlan has danced professionally since the age of twenty and began teaching ballet at sixteen. In addition to classical ballet, she studied and taught a variety of other dance techniques, including modern, African, Middle Eastern and Renaissance.

This class will be seriously fun, as we stimulate every cell in our bodies for detoxification, loosen all the joints for mobility, and improve the flow of Qi (life energy) in our meridian system. You will learn all the major organ meridians and the 18 most important acupressure points. We will flow with an easy five-minute Qigong Tai Chi style that improves balance and coordination, and harmonizes our energy with the Universe; we may even advance to levitation depending on group willingness.

    Sicilian-born Maria Mankin is a Stott Pilates-certified instructor, and has a background in circus arts, bringing fun and creativity into her classes. Her classes focus on: body awareness; strength training; core and stamina building; balance; and well-being. She works with a variety of clients at different levels from the fittest athlete to the injured and recovering individual. Teaching with many Pilates props while keeping a good pace for the group, Maria will adapt exercises and suggest appropriate modifications if needed.

Seidokan Aikido was developed in the 1970s as a system of sincere, realistic, and enthusiastic training of the mind and body for safety and self-confidence. Bring loose clothing or a gi.     Come breathe, move, and play with fundamental techniques of self-healing. This class will be seriously fun, as we stimulate every cell in our bodies for detoxification, loosen all the joints for mobility, and improve the flow of Qi (life energy) in our meridian system. You will learn all the major organ meridians and the 18 most important acupressure points. We will flow with an easy five-minute Qigong Tai Chi style that improves balance and coordination, and harmonizes our energy with the Universe; we may even advance to levitation depending on group willingness.

    Since 1978 the Point Reyes tai chi class has been meeting continually. We practice the set taught by Kuo Lien Ying. Certified instructor Ellen Serber welcomes beginners; you will get personal instruction as you learn the form. We do a group warm-up and chi gong exercises together. After learning tai chi, there is an opportunity to learn shaolin and weapons sets. Class is held outside, inside if raining. Please call before attending the first class.
